CENSUS 2001

The Falkland Islands Government conducts a Census every five years in accordance with the provisions of the Census Ordinance.  The Attorney General is required by that Ordinance to prepare a report on census patterns.  The Falkland Islands Census Report 2001 contains the Attorney General's report, the figures obtained on Census Day 7th April 2001, and comparative information with previous Census Reports.  

This portal contains a summary of the Attorney General's report.  It also reproduces certain tables to provide some of the information obtained on Census Day 2001 and to make comparisons with previous Census figures.
