Gibraltarian Support for Falklands

NOTE: The Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples (otherwise known as the UN Decolonisation Committee or the Committee of 24) was created in 1961 to assist with the fulfilment of the United Nations' Declaration on the granting of independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples.  From its inception the Special Committee has been considering "the question of the Falkland Islands (Malvinas)", and since 1983 it has been passing annual resolutions on the subject.  The General Assembly of the United Nations has not adopted any further resolutions relating to the Falkland Islands since 1988.
